Dahlia Wigfall is a Philadelphia-born artist and designer, celebrated for her innovative approach to multi-media collage art. Known as “The Queen of Collage” by her peers, Dahlia creates richly textured works that seamlessly blend fabric, paper, and paint, transforming canvases, clothing, and home décor into vibrant, expressive masterpieces. Her work, acclaimed for its bold use of color and texture, has been featured in various local publications, including The East Fallser and The Tribune.
Dahlia’s expertise in fabric collage spans a variety of mediums, including wearable art, wall paintings, reconstructed lamps, and upcycled furniture crafted from reclaimed materials. In 2005, she launched her first line of freestyle bags and clothing, showcasing a distinctive combination of reconstruction and appliqué techniques. In 2024, Dahlia relocated to New Orleans, where she continues her work as an independent artist. She is currently launching The Craft Fairy, an initiative that brings crafting make-and-take experiences to local events. Dahlia is also working on her next immersive installation, further pushing the boundaries of her creative vision.
As an “artist who shares,” Dahlia remains deeply committed to fostering creativity and accessibility. She offers affordable sewing classes, inspiring others to explore self-expression through design and craftsmanship.
