Dahlia Wigfall is a professional crafter and artist from Philadelphia. A designer who loves more than clothing, she has been dubbed “The Queen of Collage” by her fellow artists, creating multi-media collage art made of highly textured fabric, paper, and paint covering canvases, clothing, and home decor. Dahlia has been featured in many local blogs and publications, including the East Fallser and The Tribune. Known for their richness in color and texture, Dahlia has perfected fabric collage in various forms: wearable art, wall paintings, reconstructed lamps, and upcycled furniture made from disregarded materials.

 In 2005, Dahlia designed her line of free-style bags and clothing using a wide range of reconstruction and applique embellishment techniques. In January 2011, Dahlia merged with another company to create BluDahlia, a lifestyle brand specializing in clothing, accessories, and home decor. BluDahlia has a non-profit Arm, Breakfree Design Group, where they teach fashion design entrepreneurship to urban youth. As an “artist who shares,” Dahlia has offered affordable sewing classes for creative expression.
